“13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3: 13-14ESV
The race has been long and tedious, and you are swiftly approaching a steep hill. This is the place where your muscles begin to ache more than ever because you have laid eyes on what seems like an impossible incline of significant proportions.
Well, that’s life! We have done so well for a long time and suddenly a huge obstacle. This is when some will give up, turn, and walk away, but not you; you were built to last! Keep running because what you can’t see now is that the finish line is just beyond the crest of the hill.
During your time of fasting and praying, you have had a whole lot of experiences, from the moments of weakness at the beginning, from the feeling of giving up around day ten, but through it all, you kept the faith and endured like a good soldier. Now hold on, YOU’RE ABOUT TO REACH YOUR GOAL!
