Have you ever experience the pain of losing a loved one? It takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as you try to process your feeling as you search for understanding, all the while having people say, “I know how you feel.”
The fact of the matter is they don’t know how you feel, because they don’t know how you loved the one that you lost. But they can empathize with you. Empathy is the ability to experience the feelings of another person, now that’s love.
1 John 4:7-8, 11
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. “
“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.”
This is the kind of love that we as a body of believers ought to have one for another. Love that is so pure and so true; that it give us the ability to stand in one another’s shoes and love them while their pain and brokenness is so great. So let us remember that love not only covers a multitude of sin, but love heals and restores, love lifts the heavy heart and the down trodden. When you are dealing with grief and pain simply remember that, What Matters Most Now Is Love. So brothers and sisters let us show love one to another, the kind of love that will show others the Christ that abides within us all.
