Who are the members of the Junior Usher Ministry?

Members: Ty’Asia Johnson, Jordan Drakeford, Brandon Drakeford, Zimani Jones, N’Jeeri Williams, Myracle Qualls, Macaliyah Hunter, Jovan Simon, Mark Simon, Johnny Simon.
The purpose of the Junior Usher Ministry is to serve God, by being a doorkeeper in His house. Ushers are servants to the glory of God who warmly greet, welcome, and seat members and guests who enter God’s house. As forerunners, ushers prepare the place of worship by ensuring all items for a comfortable and effective worship experience are in place. Junior ushers are the youngest ushers in the Ushers Ministry.
Sister Valerie Cauthen shared that one of her favorite things about the Junior Usher Ministry is the opportunity to share her love with the young people and others. She loves the chance to usher God’s children in His house with praise, a pleasant smile, and a warm welcome.
Advice that Sister Cauthen shares with the youth is, “you can do your best and serve as an usher. Just remember to put God first because He loves us and will guide you in the right direction”. Also, “knowing that we are blessed to be doorkeepers in the house of God”.
Sister Valerie loves the young people and she shares her sweet spirit with all who she comes in contact with. The Junior Usher ministry not only have a great leader but the ministry consists of amazing Union Baptist Church Youth. The young people serve proudly on their designated Sunday with a smile on their faces and love in their hearts.
