Most of us wake up, expecting to have a great day. We commit to our morning routines and go throughout our day expecting everything to go the way that we have planned it. Our minds have been made up, and our agendas have been set.
There are many days that our plans go the opposite of what we have written down and imagined. Some can attest that it is better than expected. However, there may be others that feel like they keep getting the drama, stress, pain, frustration, and find themselves in the worst situations.
Well, every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day. Find your something good and continue to trust God to give you something better. Even the things that seem bad, God will turn around for our good. Far too often, we want to give up when we experience hurt, disappointment, betrayal, sickness, or distress. But what if Jesus gave up on Calvary when everything seemed to have been going wrong. Where would we be?
No matter what it may look like, continue to trust God and His process. We can’t continue to face the day with our own agenda. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” Declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” When you feel doubt or uncertainty about your life, be encouraged in knowing that your future is already written in His plan. You simply need to trust Him. Quit quitting, don’t lose faith, stop giving the devil credit and give God the praise. Remember, you don’t need to plan everything alone, trust the process. It’s going to get better!
