The power of a lie is that it will often cause you to operate in a manner that you usually would not. Most people who are often polite respond with anger when they have been lied upon. In order to overcome the power of a lie you must resist the temptation to respond when people talk about you. How do you do this it’s simple STAND ON TRUTH.
Truth is eternal, it pre-existed the lie, and as a matter of fact a lie comes about when truth is ignored or manipulated. The victory comes from you refusing to be manipulated, ignored, or deceived any longer. The truth shall stand forever but a lie will always fade away. Don’t allow lies to come out of your mouth, regardless of what they say, be true to the “Greater” that is within you. You are a vessel of truth because you carry the Holy Spirit & Word of God within you. Therefore in response to a lie only let what’s inside of you come out, which is truth!
