Have you ever taken a moment to truly think about the victorious words of Jude 1:24-25? It reads, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Every time that I read or recite this text I get excited about what it says.
As we all know there will be obstacles on the pathway of life that the enemy has placed there to create hindrances. These obstacles are designed to wreak havoc in our lives and ultimately cause us to fall. The enemy is intentional with his schemes and he intends to cause you to fall, as in to fall away from, the path that God has established for you to walk. In other words the enemy will do whatever it takes to cause you to stumble as a means to distract you from the will of God for your life. Beloved, be not dismayed I have good news, look at the victory that the Lord has already supplied through his word.
It says, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling!” Hallelujah, isn’t it good to know that even when we stumble, and we will, that the Lord God Almighty will keep you from falling away from the path! Go ahead and shout right now!
My brother and my sisters, though troubles may arise in life and you may get weary along the way, PLEASE DON’T FALL! Know that you serve a God who is able to keep you from falling as long as you trust him and put it all in his hands.
