Don’t you realize that you can’t tell everybody everything! The fact of the matter is that sometimes your mouth will get you in trouble if your mouth is bigger than your anointing. Some people that you know, or that simply hang around you are spiritually incompetent. Which means that they simply are not capable of handling everything that God shows you, so be careful who you share your vision with. However, even when we falter and talk too much, God makes it work for our good.
Joseph shared his vision with his brothers who couldn’t handle it, and jealousy caused them to betray him and throw him into the pit. Who have you been talking to that’s been pushing you in the pit? There are two types of people that are hearing your vision, they are pit people and palace people. The problem is that most of us only meet our palace people after dealing with our pit people.
If Joseph hadn’t been pushed by the pit people he would have never been in prison and met the one who pushed him to the palace. So even when we run our mouths too much, keep trusting God and he will push you into the presence of palace people through your pit.
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” Genesis 50:20 ESV
