” 12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.” Philippians 3: 12-15 ESV
You are now at the halfway point, which is a challenging place on your journey. Why? Because you are about to cross the proverbial point of no return or the place where you have to commit to the journey fully. If you look back, most of the difficulties are now behind you, and you are now wholly dependent upon God to lead you.
You may wonder, is it all worth it at this point on the journey? To properly answer that question, you must first answer, are you stronger than you were ten days ago? Are you more focused than you were ten days ago? Are you hearing the voice and the directions of the Lord clearer than you did just ten days ago? If the answer is yes, shout unto God with a voice of triumph! If the answer is no, shout unto God with a voice of triumph! Notice that the answer is the same because no matter the state that you find yourself in at this moment, God is still worthy of the praise! So be encouraged, child of God, no matter where you are on the journey; keep pressing forward and never doubt, and the Lord will see you through.
