“And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?” And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.” Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly..” ~Mark 8: 22-25
The hand of the Lord has been upon us, and for the first time in our lives, we can see. Hallelujah, that’s a reason to shout right there, but don’t get stuck in the dance now; because God is not through with you yet. There is so much more that God desires for you.
You see, it wasn’t until this moment that you realized you had sight but still could not see. After Jesus touched this blind man the first time, his sight was restored, yet his vision was still cloudy. It wasn’t until he received a second touch until he could say, “I can see now!”
May the Lord use this time to touch you a second time and give you the vision to see things more transparent than you’ve ever seen them before. This is the Awakening when you will begin to see with your spiritual eye (discernment) that which has been hidden from the flesh.
