In this season of crisis, as we experience circumstances that many of us have never experienced before, the Scriptures remind us of our power. How can we find power during a pandemic you ask? The answer is right beneath your nose.
It is the power of your voice. Proverbs 18:21 lets us know that death and life lie within the power of our tongue. It also tells us that we will eat the fruit of the words that we speak.
Therefore, during this time of uncertainty, there is one thing that we can be certain of and that is our God given ability to create with our words. We can give voice to words that create the picture of our circumstances.
I challenge you to create a picture of what you expect God to do for you in this season on a canvas of faith. You have the power! The power to erase the pictures of doom and gloom and negative outcomes, and instead paint a better picture, with bright colors of better opportunities and positive circumstances with the words you speak.
Stand firm in your power and speak words that give life! Life to new beginnings, life to new opportunities. Only then will you be able to taste the fruits of your words. So, while others may be stressing during this pandemic, you will be walking in victory because you dared to use your power.
