Have you ever experienced an extremely tough situation in your life? Has it ever hurt so badly until all you could do is pray and cry? Has life ever caused you to simply lift your hands and call upon the name of the Lord?
Life has a way of putting us into situations that will break us, but because something is broken doesn’t mean that it doesn’t still have a purpose. The potter may be creating one thing on the wheel, but after it breaks he has the ability to reshape it into a masterpiece. I declare and decree that your broken places and brokenness will be used to usher you into your greater purpose, God’s masterpiece.
When that happens, and your brokenness works for your good then you will speak differently concerning being broken. Job learned how to be GRACEFULLY BROKEN when he gained a deeper understanding of the grace and power of God. Job said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD,” ~Job 1:21. Paul learned the lesson of being gracefully broken and said, “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content,” ~Philippians 4:11.
So let us remember that it’s ok to be broken, as long as we let God’s Grace use our brokenness for his glory. May the Lord give you the strength to find grace in the midst of brokenness.
