Have you ever realized that some things are not what they appear to be and sometimes they juxtapose our lives? For example, have you ever been in a room and it smelled clean, it looked clean and you were left with the image that it was perfect and nothing was out of place? Yeah, me too until the Holy Spirit asked me did I remember to check the corners.
In that moment the Holy Spirit revealed to me that just like a room we can project the image that everything is perfect and that we have it all together, and most people will accept this as their reality of who we are because most people never check the corners. Well, in this season it’s time to check the corners of the people that you are connected to. Why? Because the corners are either often forgotten or the corner is a place where we stick/hide things that we want to get out of the way.
If the truth be told, just because you stuck it in the corner doesn’t mean that it went away. In order for the room to be totally clean, in order for our lives to be clean somebody’s going to have to deal with the stuff in the corners. It’s time to clean out the hurt, it’s time to clean out the pain, it’s time to clean out the embarrassment, it’s time to clean out the things that you didn’t want anyone to see or hear, and it’s time to take back your life. Remember Jesus said, “Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.” John 15:3 ESV
I dare you to declare: Today is a day of seasonal cleaning and I’m cleaning out my corners, In Jesus Name, Amen.
