What did you do to earn it? NOTHING
Do you really deserve it? NO
BUT GOD!!!

None of us has done anything to deserve what has been given in our stead! Although we did wrong, although we broke God’s law and sinned, another was punished and died in our place. The reality is that he wasn’t convicted by mistake, but he INTENTIONALLY intervened on our behalf and stood in the place that you & I deserved to be.

So look back over your life, and I promise that you will see a series of “BUT GOD” moments. Where time and time again he stood in your place, and all you will be able to do is to lift your hands and say, BUT GOD!!!
