“18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:18-19 ESV
Can you imagine how the people of the Nation of Isreal must have felt? For generations they lived and roamed the earth as free men only to be taken captive under the hand of a new Pharaoh and for years they lived a life of forced servitude or slavery. They were mentally abused, physically abused, and may have felt at times in a place of spiritual isolation and desolation. During this time of separation some may have forgotten about God or even who they were. Now they were about to come forth in grand fashion through God’s act of deliverance at the Red Sea, he would once again prove himself to be an ever present strong and mighty God.
The Egyptians perished and now all who abode in the land that God had promised his people had to await their arrival. Some would see them in awe while others would see them with reverence and fear because of the wondrous acts of their God. No matter the what would be seen everyone was awaiting the great reveal, the great arrival, the great manifestation of the people of God. So prepare yourselves as because the Lord is about to bring you forth for all to witness the manifestation of His glory upon your life.
