“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21 ESV
Do not be deceived, the scenery along the road you are destined to travel. It may be beautiful, but beware there are many obstacles along the way. The barriers are not designed to slow you down merely; they are designed to destroy you. The enemy is determined to do whatever it takes to keep you from reaching the destination that God has planned for your life. However, take courage and fret not because you are not on this journey alone.
It’s normal to get frustrated sometimes, and sometimes you may even feel like giving up. But as believers in Jesus Christ, we must remember to hold onto the divine promise that the Lord will never leave us, nor will he ever forsake us.
When Israel departed Egypt, the Lord went before them in a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. The same God stayed with Joseph no matter what the circumstances and Jesus left the promise to be with us wherever we go. So my brothers and sisters, do not lose hope because of what you will face along the way. As long as you trust the Lord, he will direct your footsteps along the way. So do not fear the obstacles. Remember that you serve a God who promised in the Book of Jude to keep you from falling along the way.
