“2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the people of Israel. ” Joshua 1:2 ESV
There is a place on your journey that requires you to put your faith in action. It’s a place that will need you to navigate unchartered territory and tread unfamiliar water if you are ever going to walk in your promise. This place is the point on your journey where pain meets promise! It’s the place where you have endured every trial and tribulation that has come your way. But, now, it’s no longer a matter of strength or endurance. You’re at the point where your next move will be the most important and impactful move of your life, your career, and your faith journey.
Where are you? You are standing at the point where you’ve survived the persecution and the pains of life, and you can see promise. But, only one thing remains in your way, a “CHOICE!” You can choose to stay in the painful place or “CROSSOVER” and walk in what God has promised you. The Hebrew people survived slavery and were delivered by God, yet they had to wander for a season to find themselves standing there looking at what God had promised them. Their next move was the most critical move of the journey!
The instructions were clear as we see them recorded in Joshua 1:2, ESV “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites.” But, listen; to reach your destination, you are required to “CROSSOVER!” The crossover will require you to step out of the past and into God’s plan (present) for your life. The Hebrew people’s journey was long and complicated, but they endured and stepped into the promise. So hold on, God won’t let you fail; trust the plan even though you don’t understand it, “CROSSOVER,” into what God has for you.
